# Stake FIT to Earn FIG

## **📌 FIT Staking Guide (**Farming FIG Token**)**

**Earn FIG rewards by staking FIT!** 🔥\
Follow this guide to **stake FIT easily and securely.** 

### **1️⃣ FIT Staking Overview**

* **What is FIT?**\
  📌 When you deposit FIL, **FIT tokens (equity proof tokens)** are issued.\
  📌 FIT tokens not only generate **FIL staking income** but can also be **staked in the farm to earn additional FIG rewards**.
* **FIG Rewards**\
  ✅ FIG is the **governance token of Filliquid**.\
  ✅ FIG rewards are **distributed based on fixed release rules**, which can be found in the **white paper**.

**① Open the FIT Farming Panel**

📌 Navigate to the **Farming page** and open the **FIT Farming panel**.\
📌 Here, you can view your **current FIT balance and the amount already staked**.

#### **② Enter the Amount to Stake**

✅ Input the **amount of FIT** you want to stake in the text box.

#### **③ Choose the Staking Period**

✅ Select your **preferred staking (lock-up) period**.

* Options range from **1 month to 1 year**.
* **Longer staking periods yield higher rewards**.
* **Rewards are dynamically adjusted based on the total network-wide staked amount** (refer to the white paper for details).

#### **④ Confirm the Staking**

✅ Review the staking details and click **"Confirm"**.\
✅ A confirmation pop-up will appear in your **wallet (Metamask, Foxwallet, Burrito Wallet, etc.)**—sign the transaction to finalize the staking.

1️⃣ Tap the **hamburger menu** in the top right corner and select **"Farming"**.\
2️⃣ Choose **FIT Farming**.\
3️⃣ Set the **desired staking period** and enter the amount of FIT received from depositing Filecoin.\
4️⃣ Check the **estimated FIG farming rewards** and press the **Confirm** button.

✅ Once farming is complete, you can check your **staking history** at the bottom of the page.
